Many love Salads due to its health benefits. One can replace the breakfast with a bowl of salad. It helps in digestion, reduce weight with less fat and often with lower calories. Salads can have lots of Nutrient value, Fiber etc.
Orange Yogurt Salad presented below here is a bit richer salad and a little high on the calorie content. I am going to use Curd/Yogurt for this salad. One can have Orange Yogurt Salad during dinner time with the option of skipping curd rice.
Orange Yogurt Salad Ingredients:
- Orange Tang Powder or Orange Rasna Powder – 2 Tbsp
- Cucumber Chopped – 1 cup
- Apple Chopped – 1/2 cup
- Carrot Chopped – 1/2 cup
- Lettuce Leaves – 5-6
- Mint Leaves finely chopped – 6-8
- Fine Sugar or Sugar Powder – 2 Tbsp
- Thick Curd / Yoghurt – 1 cup
- Salt – 1/4 tsp
Beat Curd till creamy and smooth. Add Orange Tang or Rasna Powder, Mint leaves, Sugar Powder and Salt and mix/beat well in a bowl.
Add chopped Cucumber, Carrot and Apple to the above mixture. Now the Orange Yogurt Salad is ready.
How to Garnish :
Spread the Lettuce Leaves on a platter and pour the Orange Yogurt Salad on the Lettuce Leaves and serve (Lettuce Leaves not shown in the photograph).
