Biscuit Chocolate Rolls turned out to be quite delicious. These rolls are easy to prepare. Most of the children love to have them. When you have lots of biscuits left at home and finding it difficult to consume, prepare Biscuit Chocalte Rolls or Biscuit Tower or similar recipes which attract children and adults alike. These chocolate rolls look yummy and tasted really good.
Biscuit Rolls Ingredients:
- Marie Biscuit – 10-12
- Milk – 1 Tbsp
- Unsalted Butter – 1 tsp
- Sugar Powder – 4 tsp
- Cocoa Powder – 1 tsp
How to Prepare:
Cut the Marie Biscuits into small pieces and grind them in a mixer grinder to prepare a fine powder.
Pour the powder into a vessel, add the 2 tsp of Sugar powder and Milk and mix well to prepare a soft dough like the chapati dough. Keep aside for 15 min.
Chocolate or Cocoa Cream: In another bowl, add 1 tsp unsalted Butter, 2 tsp of Sugar powder, 1/2 tsp of Cocoa powder and beat well until it turns soft and fluffy. Ensure that Sugar powder and Cocoa-powder are blend properly with Butter.
Divide the dough into small balls of suitable size and roll it out like chapati/Roti. Spread the Chocolate Cream on the rolled out chapati/Roti.
Roll this with hand into a stick shape as shown in the image. Place this in a refrigerator for an hour.
This Chocolate plus Biscuit based dough stick must become hard. Now cut this stick into evenly sized pieces to form a pattern like that of a Jalebi as shown in the image below.
Now Biscuit Chocolate Roll is ready to serve. Store them always in the refrigerator and consume. Most children love the Biscuit Chocolate Rolls.
Very simple and interesting recipe Hema. I will definitely try this when I have leftover cookies.

Sorry madhu, could not reply you. Will register to the foodworld blog. I’m improving my website. So thought of registering after that. Thanks for the comments. Try to update doubled layered sweet.
The chocolate cream quantities are all in teaspoon. This will give 3.5 tsp of cream. Is this correct?
Yes, that’s right. Depending on your taste/preference, you can add additional cocoa powder upto 1/2 tsp only. Beyond that you may get bitter taste on your chocolate roll. Thanks
hema alternatively can we use chocolate drink i mean boost ,bronvita..in place of choco powder
Kashvi – You can use Chocolate drinks like Boost or Bournvita, but powder it before you mix it with other ingredients. My feeling is that you will not get the taste that you can get by using Choco powder. If you cannot find Choco powder, do try these powders. Let me know how Biscuit Chocolate Rolls come out. Thanks
Hi Hema….I love to cook and so I often search recipes on net to make something different…luckily today i found your blog…Its really very different and believe me I have never came across such innovative preparations particularly when it is for veg foods..Thanks a lot for sharing your recipes
Hi Hema,
I came across your website while I was looking for easy chocolate recipes….Thanks a million for this recipe… it tastes delicious… actually make it simply divine. I was hoping for a bit of help from you in the step where you say “Divide the dough into small balls of suitable size and roll it out like chapati/Roti” I am a bit stuck as every time I make the dough, it comes out a bit sticky and ends up getting stuck to the rolling pin.. Any suggestions on how I can overcome this? Thanks for a great tasting recipe anyways…:)
Polo – Nice to hear that you like Biscuit Chocolate Rolls. If the dough is found sticking to the rolling pin, try hand greasing the pin with just a little bit of Ghee/Clarified Butter before rolling the dough.
I also notice the stickiness of the dough when I prepare this and usually find myself going a little slow when rolling the dough. Hope this helps mitigate the problem you are facing.
Hi thanks a ton for the recipe…My son told me about a sweet he had to take to school next day only at 10 pm!!!…I had bookmarked the site earlier…so this was a lifesaver…thanks
So yummy. You are really very creative:)
Hi…….can I use our normal mixer which are normally found in everyone’s house. ….can I use it to beat coco cream….because I don’t have hand blender…?!!
Sorry for the late reply Priya. Yes, you can use the normal mixer for grinding and also you can use the coco cream instead of preparing cream by beating the butter, sugar and cocoa powder. It is very easy to beat these, as you don’t need beater for this. If you mix in spoon or in whisk that is enough for this recipe. Look that everything blends well and sugar has to dissolve properly.
